MEMBERSHIP CARDS
I've lost my Membership card. What should I do?
No one likes standing in line! Having your Membership Card in hand helps speed up the admission process. If you have misplaced your Membership Card, please contact the Membership office or stop by the admission desk to request a new one.
I have not received my Membership card in the mail. How long does it take?
We strive to mail out all Membership Cards within 10 business days of purchase, but sometimes due to high volume, it can take up to 4 weeks. While you are waiting, we will accept a proof of purchase receipt in lue of your Membership Card. If you have been waiting longer than a month, please contact the Membership Office.

USE OF MEMBERSHIP CARDS/CHECK-IN
Can I loan my Membership card to my sister or father? Membership cards are not transferable. Cards can only be used by the adults and children listed on your card. If you would like to help someone visit the Nature Center, consider buying him or her a gift membership!
How many adults and children can I bring with me?
The Chula Vista Nature Center has variety of Membership levels available. We provide 2 one-time use guest passes to Member Plus memberships. If you have specific questions regarding your Membership level, please contact our Membership Office
I'm a Member—why do I have to stand in line?
For safety reasons it is crucial that all visitors check-in at our admission desk. Having an accurate count of attendance is also important when we report back to our many funders and plan staffing.
I renewed 3 weeks ago—why isn't my name on the Membership Roster?
The Membership roster at the admission desk is updated monthly. Memberships are listed alphabetically by the last name of the primary adult on the membership. Perhaps your Membership is under a different name? As long as you have either a Membership card or a receipt as a proof of purchase, you will be admitted. Please have the admission desk check with our membership office to make sure your membership has been processed correctly.
Do I need another ID?
For security reasons and to protect your membership, you will be asked to show a picture ID at the admission desk every visit.

MEMBER EVENTS
How often are Member events?
We try to hold Member's Only events bi-monthly (or whenever we have a special reason to celebrate)! Save-the-Date postcards and e-blasts will notify you of upcoming events and activities. Check our Calendar for more information!
Do I need to R.S.V.P. for Member Events?
In most cases we ask that you R.S.V.P. for Member events. Knowing how many people plan to attend helps us plan for the proper amount of food and adequate staffing. Please look at your invitation carefully and if requested to do so, call the R.S.V.P. line.
